The Housing Board

The Housing Board

The Housing Board is a group of senior local authority and partner agency officers,  which meets regularly to work collaboratively on strategic housing issues across eight districts. These are Cambridge, East Cambridgeshire, Fenland, Forest Heath, Huntingdonshire, Peterborough, South Cambridgeshire and St Edmundsbury.

The Board works with its partners to share learning and experience across the local housing market area on four priorities:

  • New homes & communities
  • Homes for wellbeing
  • Existing homes
  • Housing need and homelessness

The Housing Board was previously known as Cambridge sub-Regional Housing Board (CRHB) and as CRASH (Cambridge Affordable and Social Housing group).

About the Housing Board

  • The Housing Board priorities are outlined on this page.
  • You can find terms of reference here.
  • Meetings are usually held on the first Friday of each month, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, usually in the Swansley Room at South Cambridgeshire’s offices in Cambourne.

Year planner

You can find a new Housing Board year planner – setting out meeting dates for the Board and other related groups throughout the year – here (draft-v5). It’s work in progress, we can always add new dates, but will hopefully help avoid some meeting clashes.
