Census 2021 topic summary: ethnic group, national identity, language and religion
On 23rd January 2023, the ONS published ethnicity data by single year of age and sex by local authority for the 19 high level ethnic groups included within the Census. (The data is rounded to the nearest 5 and all counts below 5 are suppressed). Detailed ethnic group data by age and sex is also available for England and Wales only, at this stage.
