Following on from Cambridgeshire County Council’s (CCC) 2021-based population and dwelling stock forecasts published in July 2023, we have now published a choropleth map showing the forecast percentage increase in population by ward from 2021 to 2031, alongside the locations of major housing developments.
CCC’s population forecasts are ‘policy lead’, so that they are consistent with planned levels of house-building. Many of the wards that are forecast to have the highest percentage growth in population between 2021 and 2031 are those that contain significant housing developments.
