New Hire a Hero UK Website Launches to Connect Veterans with Civilian Careers

A leading veterans’ employment charity has launched a new website designed to help Armed Forces service leavers, veterans and reservists secure meaningful civilian employment while making it easier for employers to recruit highly skilled former military personnel.

Hire a Hero UK provides free support to members of the Armed Forces community as they transition into civilian careers and offers employers the opportunity to advertise job vacancies at no cost.

Each year, thousands of men and women leave the Armed Forces with valuable leadership, teamwork, resilience and technical expertise. Despite possessing many of the qualities employers seek, many veterans face challenges translating their military experience into civilian roles. Hire a Hero UK aims to bridge that gap by connecting veteran talent with organisations that recognise the value of military service.

The charity is building a nationwide network of veteran-friendly employers committed to supporting the Armed Forces community. Through the platform, employers can access a pool of experienced and motivated candidates while demonstrating their commitment to those who have served.
