Armed Forces Community Support

Community Support comes in many forms and can provide socialisation, help and advice and even opportunities to try something new. There are numerous hubs and clubs throughout Cambridgeshire & Peterborough for the Armed Forces Community and many of these settings are run by members of the Armed Forces Community.

If you are interested in setting up your own breakfast club, you can get lots of great advice and support from the Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs (AFVBC) website.

If you are interested in starting your own Hub or Drop In, please feel free to email the Armed Forces Covenant Partnership Coordinator for support

Many of the Breakfast Clubs In Cambridgeshire and Peterborough fall unter the AFVBC banner whilst a few remain independant of the AFVBC structure.

Drop In Hubs

Drop Ins and Hubs are growing in popularity in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and offer informal, relaxed and welcoming settings for members of the Armed Forces Community.

Many of the volunteers that run the Hubs and Drop Ins have undertaken awareness training about the services and support that is available to the Armed Forces Community and can provide helpful signposting as required.
