We have published Cambridgeshire County Council’s 2022-based population and dwelling stock estimates and forecasts for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s population is forecast to grow by 17% between 2022 and 2041, an average increase of just under 0.9% per year. Almost 85,000 new dwellings are forecast to be completed between 2022 and 2041, a rise in total dwelling stock of 22%.
The population and dwelling stock estimates are available for districts, district wards and parishes. The forecasts are available for districts and district wards for every five years from 2022 to 2041.
Alongside the estimates and forecasts, we have also published population pyramids showing the forecast change in population by age and ward level analysis of forecasted population change.
