The purpose of Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is to identify local needs and views to support local strategy development and service planning. In order to understand whether we are achieving good health and care outcomes locally, it is useful to benchmark outcomes in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough against the national average and to look at trends over time. The primary purpose of these JSNA Core Datasets, 2017 for Cambridgeshire and 2018 for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, is to provide a comprehensive resource that provides this information in one place and, along with the JSNA themed reports and local views, provides an input to the formulation of local Health and Wellbeing Strategies.
Further data covering Cambridgeshire’s health and wellbeing determinants and outcomes can be found on Cambridgeshire Insight at http://cambridgeshireinsight.org.uk/health and from the Insight home page at http://cambridgeshireinsight.org.uk/ and for Peterborough at https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/healthcare/public-health/JSNA/ and https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/healthcare/public-health/.
