A range of partners got together in May 2017 to think through our approach to homelessness, how we could do more by working together, and what would be helpful for leaders of a variety of agencies to sign up to in a "Memorandum of Understanding".
Our facilitator for the session was Gill Leng, who led us through a series of discussions so we could help form the new Memorandum, and also highlight areas we could do more on to prevent homelessness at the earliest possible stage by working together.
The Memorandum will be put to the leaders of local organisations like district councils, police, helath service, fire and rescue service, economic partnership and housing partners, to sign up to and agree to this cooperative and preventative approach.
