CRHB works with partners to identify and meet housing need, extend housing choice and tackle homelessness.
CRHB wants to help people find and settle in a home which is good quality, affordable and meets the household's needs.
The group works with partners to prevent and tackle homelessness, aiming to reduce deprivation and to improve social inclusion.
In 2006 the seven districts in our housing sub-region launched Home-Link, a system to help people choose the home they would live in, rather than being ‘allocated’ a home by the local authority.
This page gives more detail about Home-Link, Help to Buy and other partners who work together to meet housing need, extend housing choice and tackle homelessness.
In 2016, a whole range of partners across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough came together to bid for "homelessness trailblazer" funding. Happily, we secured nearly £750,000 as a result. You can find out more about the bid and what themoney is for, here.
