We have just launched the latest housing market bulletin for the Cambridge housing sub-region.
The nineteenth edition has a seasonal flavour as it is coming out just before the winter break. It looks at data from Hometrack about our local, regional and national housing markets based on facts and figures for September 2013.
The latest edition includes more information about average prices for sales of housing across our seven districts alongside information on lower quartile prices, which give us more insight into "entry level" prices rather than just averages.
The latest Bulletin shows just over 4,000 sales completing between July and September 2012; the lowest figure we've seen in recent months, down from 5,200 in March 2013 across our seven districts. The average price to sell across our market area was around £240,000 ranging from just under £151,000 in Fenland to over £361,000 in Cambridge.
All this data, and more, is set out in graphs, maps and tables in the Bulletin.
Great to share
Sue Beecroft said "It's great to share the latest data on house prices and numbers of sales, affordability and private rent levels across our housing market area. This Bulletin continues our three-monthly updates on the housing market."
All nineteen bulletins can now be found on the Cambridgeshire Insight Housing Market Bulletin page.
Sue continues "Your comments and suggestions to improve the Bulletin are always welcome. Please do get in touch if you have ideas for the next edition, which is due out in March 2014."www.cambridgeshireinsight.org.ukTwitter @CambsInsight and @CambsHsgSubRegPinterest pinterest.com/cambsinsight
